Keith Kibirango

Founder/Chief Executive

Keith is the Chief Executive and Founder of New Global Markets (NGM) , and is also referred to as a “Fundraising Therapist”. With over 20 years of experience in philanthropy, fundraising, and social impact across the UK, Europe, Africa, and globally, Keith is recognised for turning bold vision into lasting impact. A British Ugandan lawyer, he holds degrees from Makerere University and the London School of Economics, and has built a career rooted in purpose, justice, and transformative leadership.

At NGM, Keith leads a global advisory firm that works with nonprofits, philanthropists, and corporates to grow income, design strategy, and achieve sustainability. The firm connects global stakeholders to opportunities that deliver long-term value, aligning investment and giving with purpose.

Keith began his career in Uganda, leading organisations like the Legal Aid Project of the Uganda Law Society, before moving to the UK, where he pioneered major donor and fundraising programmes at Ark, Tommy’s, JUSTICE, and Save the Children UK. There, he secured a historic £10 million donation from an African billionaire—the largest private donation from Africa to a nonprofit to date. As CEO of Crown Agents International Development, he tripled the organisation’s annual income to £15 million in just three years.

A respected strategist and global advocate, Keith has raised over £100 million, built high-level corporate partnerships, and influenced policy through international platforms. He has spoken at the World Economic Forum, UN General Assembly, COP28, and addressed audiences at Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.

As a Fundraising Therapist, Keith supports leaders and organisations to overcome fundraising barriers, shift mindset, and inspire transformational giving.

He has served on the boards of Save the Children UK, Mothers2Mothers, and Comic Relief, working alongside global leaders to drive systems-level change. Keith remains a powerful force in international development, strategic philanthropy, and the future of social finance.
